[/b][/color] I like to have a good time but when there's need for seriousness, I can be as serious as you need...I don't like being silly all the time!
2. My older brother, Kyle, got into drugs one time, last year in february, and now he's in jail for two years. He got into weed and crack cocaine, and got high daily, so we had to call the police. I swear to God it was frightening!
3. When I was thirteen I won a third-place prize for my watercolor painting of a swan...I didn't think it was all that good, either!
4. My dad works as a baseball player for the minor league baseball team in Florida. It's really cool because we get free food, tickets, and parking!
5. My mom is an artist, and that how she paid for me to go to this great school. I basically grew up on watercolours and pencils, and I heard daily about my drawing. It was part of my home-schooling curriculum.
6. I used to have a cat named Bailey, but she died when my mom was spray painting the wall...she inhaled paint and it poisened her blood.
7. I don't care about how much money a person has, or about how well they draw. I appreciate a person's personalities, and I do well with people who have similar interests as me.

Makenzi stretched and rolled over in bed. Her colorful comforter was so soft...so warm...she tried to force herself out of bed so she could make it to her first class at her new boarding school, Robbins Art Institute. She had wanted to go to this school so badly. The thought of living away from home had seemed so thrilling to her, especially since she was only sixteen. She slammed her hand down on the alarm clock on her dresser and groaned. She rolled over again to the other side and noticed her roommate, whose name had slipped her mind, had already gotten up. She gasped and jumped out of bed with a sudden, explosive movement. She would be late for her first class, which would not be very good for her first day. She rushed over to her dresser and ripped out a white t-shirt with 'Peace' written on it in pink and purple letters. Then she snatched some jeans and slipped them on. She put her shirt on and some makeup and ran down the hallway, tucking in her Peace shirt hastily. She stopped short, forgetting her Paul McCartney messanger bag and dashing back in annoyance. After she'd grabbed her bag she ran hurriedly down the hall. She didn't slow down as she came to the stairs, though, and tripped over a loose spot on the carpet and went flying. She tumbled down the staircase and ended up on the ground, with pain in her right arm. She screamed and wondered if anyone was around. "Help me!" She wailed. She saw a tall boy walk by, and yelped painfully, "Hey! You! Get the nurse or something! I think I broke my arm!" The boy looked at her and sighed. He flipped out a red cell phone and dialed 911. Makenzi breathed heavily and with every breath she felt more pain. Finally, after what felt like eons, someone answered the boy's phone and he said, "Hello? I need an ambulance. Someone at my school broke her arm." The person said something else and he said, "Robbins Art Institute." He blinked. "No, I am not playing a trick on you. Someone fell down the stairs and - " He rolled his eyes. "Can you please send an ambulence over? Thank you." He shut the phone and sat down. "They thought I was playing a joke on them! The nerve!" He blinked his weird colored eyes at Makenzi. "Oh, right." He helped Makenzi up and said, "I'm [insert name here]. Who are you?" Makenzi winced in pain as she moved her arm to sit down. "I'm Makenzi Rippens. I'm new here, so you wouldn't know me." Ten minutes later, the ambulance arrived and Makenzi was taken to the hospital. There, she called her mother and Mrs. Rippens rushed over. After a lecture on how to be careful, Mrs. Rippens finally left, casting a glance or two over her shoulder. "You'll be fine, Makenzi," she said as she left.
